The Anatomy of a Sports Sponsorship Agreement

Submitted by Ken Jacobs (not verified) on Wed, 16/03/2011 - 2:19pm.
I really enjoyed this article - whilst sponsorship agreements may seem quite simple to the uninitiated I thought this article provided extremely comprehensive coverage on a subject(sponsorship) that quite often can go pear shaped unless all aspects of an agreement are covered in detail in a formal contract - long gone are the days of a handshake agreement and too often sponsorship agreements can result in litigation unless all aspects are covered off in the sponsorship contract before one gets involved in the sponsorship activation. That is not to say that even with contracts in place litigation doesn't follow from time to time but at least this article in my view covers all of the prerequisites for a solid agreement between the parties concerned.
