BHOPAL: The Centre, which last month gave in-principle approval to the Madhya Pradesh state government to host the Khelo India Games of 2022 in Bhopal, has reportedly issued a formal notification to that effect.
Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju will reportedly visit the Madhya Pradesh capital next month to make the formal announcement alongside state chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

NEW DELHI: Karnataka will be the host state of the second Khelo India University Games (KIUG), scheduled to be held later this year.
The announcement was made on Sunday by the state's chief minister BS Yediyurappa and Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju.
The games will be held in Bengaluru's Jain University and other venues in the state, in partnership with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
