CORSIER-SUR-VEVEY, Switzerland: United World Wrestling has confirmed that due to the recent adverse ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport towards the Russian Anti-Doping Agency, the location of the 2022 and 2023 Senior World Championships have been shuffled. 

Additionally, one of the four Beach Wrestling World Series Stops, originally planned to be hosted by Russia, will be moved. An alternate city is being explored and will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

LAUSANNE: Manchester City will be able to take its Champions League spot next season after the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled in the Premier League side's favour, removing the two-year ban from European competition that had been handed down by UEFA in February. CAS also reduced the fine that UEFA had slapped on the Abu Dhabi-owned club from €30 million to €10 million.

MANCHESTER: Abu Dhabi-owned Manchester City has stated it would appeal before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against the ruling announced Friday by UEFA that bars the Premier League champions from competing in its club competitions (Champions League and Europa League) for two seasons - 2020/21 and 2021/22.

NEW DELHI: India will file an appeal before the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Switzerland against the World Anti-Doping Agency's decision to suspend the accreditation of National Dope Testing Laboratory, Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju said on Friday. Rijiju said it was disheartening that WADA had taken such a decision after the NDTL had begun a "course correction" of issues faced by it "in the past".
