MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed that the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati will play host to two home games of Indian Premier League franchise Rajasthan Royals in the VIVO IPL 2020. 

They will now play Delhi Capitals & Kolkata Knight Riders on April 5th & April 9th respectively in Guwahati. Both games will have an 8 PM IST start. 

The BCCI also announced that the six afternoon games this year will be played at 4 PM IST while the evening games will have a scheduled start of 8 PM IST.

GUWAHATI: Assam's financial capital Guwahati will play host to the third edition of Khelo India Youth Games in January next, state chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal said while chairing the first high-powered review meeting here Thursday.   Sonowal said the state machinery, including sports bodies, should make the best innovation for successfully organising the games in the city.
