PUBG Mobile, one of the world’s most popular mobile games, Friday announced a new partnership with football icon Lionel Messi. 

Coming soon as part of the Version 2.3 Update in November, PUBG Mobile will celebrate the sporting icon’s one of a kind career, bringing the superstar to players’ devices across the world and setting the bar as the only battle royale mobile game to officially partner with Messi.

“I am proud of what we’ve been working on and want to invite all players to join me in PUBG Mobile,” said Messi.

MUMBAI: South Korean gaming company PUBG Corporation on Tuesday announced it had terminated its ties with China’s Tencent Holdings for its PUBG MOBILE franchise in India (emphasis ours). The move comes in the wake of the recent ban imposed on the game’s mobile version, both full and light, by the Indian government citing security concerns.

BENGALURU: Esports start-up EWar Games has announced PUBG mobile gaming tournament “EWar PUBG Mahayudh” for both professionals as well as emerging PUBG Mobile gamers of India.  The first season of EWar PUBG Mahayudh will be held over a period of over one month, beginning from 18 June, and extending till 19 July.

MUMBAI: Featuring a prize pool of $400,000, Asia Pacific Predator League 2020 tournament for PUBG and Dota 2 is all set to begin registrations in India starting from October 14.  The 2019 edition had 3,530 teams from 16 regions. This is Acer's flagship esports tournament. The tournament regional qualifiers begin from the 1st of November and the finals will be held in Manila on February 22-23, 2020.
