MUMBAI: Match No. 32 of IPL 2022 between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings, which was shifted from MCA Stadium in Pune to Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai due to COVID-19 outbreak in the DC team, finally went ahead on schedule. 

The developments came even as a second overseas player of Delhi Capitals tested positive. This came just hours ahead of the team's game against Punjab Kings. 

New Zealand's Tim Seifert tested positive after a Rapid Antigen Test conducted on Wednesday afternoon, making it the sixth such case in the camp.

ZURICH: In light of the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic is having around the world and the postponement of the FIFA Council meeting that was foreseen to take place in early June in Addis Ababa, FIFA has confirmed to the bidding member associations that the selection of the host(s) of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 by the FIFA Council will be made at its meeting to be held online on 25 June.

NEW DELHI: adidas Thursday announced the #HOMETEAMHERO Challenge – a virtual sporting event for the world’s athletes to unite and help make a difference by dedicating their workouts for good. BENGALURU: The Karnataka government is considering easeing lockdown restrictions in the state after May 17 when the third phase of the COVID-19 induced lockdown comes to an end.  If the proposal is cleared, gyms, fitness centres and golf courses will open for business from that date.
