Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) has acquired the exclusive TV and digital rights for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. 

The 22nd iteration of the multi-sporting event will take place between 28th July and 8th August. The agreement, financial terms for which were not disclosed, provides SPN with exclusive rights to broadcast the games in India and the subcontinent including countries such as Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bhutan and Maldives and will also be available to livestream on their premium OTT platform, SonyLIV.

LONDON: Following an international tender process, sports broadcast production company Sunset+Vine has been appointed as host broadcaster for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. The agreement includes a full-service delivery of every aspect of the Games, including more sports coverage than any previous Commonwealth Games.
