Talkwalker

NEW YORK: Analytics major Nielsen Holdings plc, has sold its social media TV measurement and audience insights software provider Nielsen Social to Talkwalker, a global social listening and analytics company. 

While financial terms were been disclosed, Talkwalker declared the "acquisition will build on its existing strength in serving global brands".

The sale follows up on the announcement Nielsen Holdings made at the beginning of the month that it would "exit several smaller, underperforming markets and non-core businesses in the second half of 2020".
