LONDON: Arsenal FC has reinforced its commitment to tackling climate change by becoming the first Premier League club to sign up for the UN Sports for Climate Action Framework.

The signatories to this initiative, which already include FIFA, the FA and the IOC, aim to support these ambitions by adhering to the following five principles:

  • Undertake systematic efforts to promote greater environmental responsibility

  • Reduce overall climate impact

  • Educate on climate action
