MADRID: LaLiga has started to distribute its Players Pack this week, which is a new initiative to bring LaLiga's sponsors closer to players, coaching staff and boards of clubs in LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank, the first and second divisions of professional football in Spain, respectively.
The Players Pack is a kit that contains exclusive perks offered by LaLiga through its sponsors Banco Santander, Movistar, Samsung and EA Sports. The initiative has been developed by the Players' Office, which is integrated in the LaLiga Competitions Department, alongside the Marketing Department, and the aim is for it to run season on season.
Oscar Mayo, LaLiga's director of international development, highlighted how important the launch of this type of project is for everyone that is part of LaLiga: "We're thrilled with the initial distribution of the Players Pack. This is a clear example of how LaLiga is developing in terms of relationships not only with the biggest stars of our competitions, the players, but also our sponsors by offering them innovative assets."
The brand new Players Pack includes special products by Banco Santander, Movistar+, Samsung and a gift from EA Sports that contains the case for FIFA 20 with the name and squad number of every LaLiga player.
The initiative is in line with LaLiga's goals of supporting the players, expanding our competition's image in Spain and abroad, working alongside the key figures in our competition and supporting them during their careers from start to end. An example of this is LaLiga Proplayer, which aims to make good use of the sporting talent found across the academies at LaLiga clubs in order to promote a globally acclaimed youth system and boost the players' development.
