DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) Board has approved the process to elect the next chairman of the world body in November. 

After the meeting in Birmingham, it was decided that with Greg Barclay ending his tenure this year, the election will be decided by a simple majority and the term of the chair will be for a two-year period between December 1, 2022, to November 30, 2024.

LONDON: The Premier League has confirmed Gary Hoffman as its new chairman.  Shareholders voted unanimously Friday in favour of Hoffman’s appointment at a special teleconference meeting. He will take over from interim chair Claudia Arney on 1 June.

DUBAI: ICC chairman Shashank Manohar has been re-elected for cricket’s top job unanimously here on Tuesday. He was the only nominee put forward by the ICC. Manohar will serve another two-year term, having been elected as the chairman back in 2016.

MUMBAI: Shashank Manohar, the current International Cricket Council (ICC) independent chairman, is all set for a two-year extension of his tenure in the position.  According to a report by DNA, he has emerged to be the unanimous choice of all board members during the ongoing five-day quarterly ICC meeting in Kolkata.
