LUQUE, Paraguay: The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) is making plans to hold next year's Copa America in stadiums filled with fans if a vaccine is found in time, reported Reuters.

The tournament, set to be held in June and July 2021 in Argentina and Colombia, was held over from this year due to the pandemic but officials said they are optimistic fans will be able to attend what is one of the region's biggest sporting events.

SINGAPORE: The council of CONMEBOL has unanimously awarded the contract for the consultancy and commercialization of Copa America 2019 to MP & Silva. The tender and adjudication were supervised by the auditing firm Ernst & Young. MP & Silva will be responsible for the consulting, sales and after-sales services of the oldest and most prestigious tournament of CONMEBOL, the Copa America Brazil 2019.
