KOLKATA: Under the aegis of East Bengal Football Club Private Limited, Kolkata giants East Bengal FC on Tuesday submitted their bid document seeking entry into the Hero Indian Super League from the upcoming season.

While the onine submission was made Monday, the physical copy is set to reach the ISL authorities by Tuesday.

Football Sports Development Ltd (FSDL), organisers of the ISL, last week had invited bids in respect of six cities - New Delhi, Ludhiana, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Siliguri and Bhopal.

MUMBAI: The prevalant talk that East Bengal, in the wake of getting on board a controlling investor in Shree Cement, would be joining the Hero Indian Super League from the upcoming season itself, can be taken as good as confirmed now. KOLKATA: Hero I-League club East Bengal FC on Friday received the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from its previous investor Quess Corp, thereby clearing the way for the Kolkata giants to submit the necessary documents to participate in the upcoming season's Hero I-League. The NOC also allows the club to bring new investors on board.
