MUMBAI: After the 2021 Indian Premier League was suspended indefinitely on Tuesday, Board of Control for Cricket in India vice president Rajeev Shukla insists that the tournament is not cancelled.

“One thing I want to make very clear – it has not been cancelled. It has been postponed, suspended and deferred. The remaining part of this IPL will happen. In due course, when the Covid situation improves, a decision will be taken about it,” Shukla told host broadcaster Star Sports.

MUMBAI: The Indian Premier League (IPL) is reportedly considering instituting a football like midseason transfer of players for uncapped players.   IPL governing council chairman Rajeev Shukla told Mid-Day, “Yes, this time the IPL will see mid-season transfers.”

NEW DELHI: Indian Premier League chairman Rajeev Shukla Media has confirmed media speculation doing the rounds recently that a mid-season transfer window would be introduced for the IPL from the 2018 edition.  While the mid-season transfer window is common when it comes to football, this would be a first for the IPL.

LONDON: After months of negotiations, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has agreed terms on a revised revenue share model from the International Cricket Council that was inked at the ICC's ongoing Annual Conference Week here Thursday. It was agreed during the conference that the BCCI would be getting $405 million, $266 million more than England, which will take home $139 million.
