MUMBAI: Ratan Tata, chairman of Tata Group, took to social media to announce Saturday that Tata Trusts was committing Rs 5 billion towards the fight to contain the COVID-19 pandemic and related activities, noting it was one of the "toughest challenges the human race will face".
Soon after, Tata Sons, the holding firm of the Tata group companies, announced an additional Rs 10 billion support over and above Rs 5 billion pledged by Tata Trusts earlier in the day.
