MUMBAI: The ethics officer of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has issued a notice to Rupa Gurunath, daughter of Tamil Nadu cricket czar N Srinivasan and president of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA), in response to a complaint of conflict of interest that has been made regarding her position as head of the TNCA.

The notice has been served in the wake of a complaint filed by Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) life member Sanjeev Gupta.

CHENNAI: With the latest government order from the Centre prohibiting sporting events in August, the Tamil Nadu Premier League’s (TNPL) last hope of running the fifth edition has all but ended, Sportstar reports. The TNPL was originally supposed to have been held between June 10 and July 12 before it was postponed because of the COVID-19 outbreak.
