DOHA: Qatar will stage the 2021 Men's and Women's Asian Table Tennis Championships, it was announced Monday.
The Qatar Table Tennis Association (QTTA) confirmed to local daily The Peninsula that the event will be held in September next year.
QTTA has won the hosting rights following the withdrawal of China and India, who were part of the bidding race.
This will be the second time after 2000 that Qatar will be staging the Asian championships.
