NEW DELHI: Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju on Wednesday said online fantasy sports is revolutionising sports by bringing fans closer to their favourite games.
Rijiju's comments, coming close on the heels of similar arguments made by government think tank Niti Aayog, indicates that the Centre has got fully behind the premise that the online fantasy sports industry "is fuelling sports consumption".
