NEW DELHI: Sports Authority of India director-general Sandip Pradhan has commended the joint initiative of the All India Football Federation and SAI to use the period of the country-wide lockdown to hold a 13-day online coaching refresher course. The course, which got underway on Monday, April 20, will see as many as 20 different sessions being held, with the course coming to an end on Saturday, May 2.

LONDON: Formula 1 CEO Chase Carey has provided an update to fans on the latest developments on the 2020 F1 calendar, including a target start date and location.  Although it was announced Monday morning that the French Grand Prix, due to take place in late June, will not be going ahead, "we are now increasingly confident with the progress of our plans to begin our season this summer", Chase said.
