The National Basketball Association (NBA) announced Thursday that the league’s live whip-around show - “NBA 360” will be available for free on the NBA App in India on Saturdays from March 30 through April 6 from 5 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. IST.

NBA 360 provides a multi-view broadcast with continuous and simultaneous coverage, including live look-ins, in-progress highlights, up-to-date graphics, statistical leaders, standings, and player interviews, capturing all of the excitement and the best storylines from around the league.

NEW YORK: NBA’s sponsorship revenue has crossed $1 billion for the first time in the history of the league, courtesy an 8-year deal with top apparel maker Nike and the launch of 3-year test program involving jersey partners, as per a report by research and consulting firm ESP Properties, Chicago. The NBA recorded figures of $1.12 billion in 2017-18 in sponsorships, up by $259 million as compared to 2016-17.

SAN FRANCISCO: Basketball star Stephen Curry is in talks with the PGA Tour for a deal that would allow his management company to sell marketing and sponsorship deals for a golf event in the fall of 2019, ESPN reports.  The Safeway Open in California is said to be targeted as the event that Curry would host. A PGA Tour official confirmed that they were in talks with Curry regarding this deal.

NEW DELHI: NBA India announced on Friday that the event, Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Asia 2018 will be hosted in New Delhi at its academy, according to a PTI report. The NBA Academy India will be conducting the NBA and FIBA's global basketball development and community outreach program from May 30-June 2, marking the second instance of the event taking place in the country.
