MUMBAI: India’s estimated sports audience base is a staggering 678 million (67.8 crore), according to a new study. Cricket, football & kabaddi are the top 3 sports, with audience base of 612, 305 & 208 million respectively.

These are some of the key findings published by media consulting firm Ormax Media, which Wednesday released its latest research report titled The Ormax Sports Audience Report: 2024.

BENGALURU: Disney-Star controlled Mashal Sports, organisers of vivo Pro Kabaddi League, successfully completed 66 matches constituting the first half of the ongoing Season 8 league stage, in complete conformity to the schedule that was released in December 2021.  Mashal Sports Monday announced the second part of the ongoing round-robin league, with 33 matches to be played from 20 January to 4th February.
