FanCode adds DTM racing series to motorsports portfolio

MUMBAI: Digital sports platform will be exclusively broadcasting the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) for its 40th anniversary season in India. 

The sports car racing series, DTM, is based in Germany, and features top-tier sports car racing action across Europe. Encompassing the entire eight-event series, the partnership will allow Indian fans to catch all the action live on FanCode from 26th April to 20th October. 

India’s racing sensation Arjun Maini will be in action for the Mercedes-AMG team.

South India Rally to be held as per schedule
CHENNAI: The South India Rally, organised by the Madras Motor Sports Club, and which doubles up as the opening rounds of the FIA Asia-Pacific Rally Championship and the Indian National Rally Championship (4-wheelers), will be held as scheduled in Chennai from March 20 to 22, but strictly complying with medical and travel advisories issued by the Indian government, according to the chairman of the event, Vicky Chandhok.

F1: Oz GP cancelled, Bahrain, Vietnam GPs postponed
LONDON: The Bahrain and Vietnam Grands Prix have been postponed due to the continued global spread of coronavirus. The races had been set for March 20-22 at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir (closed to spectators), and April 3-5 at the recently completed Hanoi Circuit.

MotoGP: Red Bull Grand Prix Of The Americas postponed
NEW YORK: The FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports Tuesday announced the postponement of the Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas, which was set to take place from the 3rd to the 5th of April.  Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, the event has been rescheduled for later in the season and will now take place from the 13th to the 15th of November.
