NEW DELHI: Sports marketing firm Baseline Ventures Monday announced that they have added the exciting young and technically gifted women's cricketer Richa Ghosh to their ever-growing talent roster.
The multi-year association between the two parties will see Baseline manage all commercial interests of the 17-year-old youngster.
Born in Siliguri, West Bengal, Ghosh entered the limelight earlier this year, when at the age of just 16, she was selected to be a part of the Indian women's cricket team for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2020.
The exciting middle-order batsman was also then selected to represent the Indian team for their tri-nation series in Australia. Ghosh, who is tipped to be the next big thing in Indian women's cricket, is a right-handed batter by trade, who can bowl medium pace, and also featured for the Trailblazers in the Women's T20 Challenge held on the back of the IPL 2020 season.
“Baseline has always been a great supporter of women's cricket and cricketers in India, and I am really delighted to have signed for them.
