Raina face of UAE based GP Petroleums

MUMBAI: Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has been named brand ambassador of IPOL Lubricants by GP Petroleums, part of UAE-based Gulf Petrochem Group.

Raina will be the face of IPOL Lubricants for a period of one year and will be actively involved in a host of innovative marketing and customer experience initiatives to be rolled out by GP Petroleums.

GPPL specialises in formulating, manufacturing and marketing, of industrial and automotive lubricants, process oils, greases and other specialties under the brand name IPOL for more than four decades. IPOL is the signature brand of the company in the industrial lubricants segment.

“It is a pleasure to associate with GP Petroleums, being a well-established name in the lubricant industry. I am glad to take this opportunity further and wish to see IPOL capturing market share of competitive brands. I look forward to take the brand IPOL to different levels,” Raina was quoted as saying in a company release.

“We are happy to have Mr. Raina onboard to endorse IPOL Lubricants and we are sure he will be a good fit for the same. He is an aggressive and trust worthy player on field, which will hopefully mirror in support of our brand IPOL, a high-quality lubricant in the Automotive and Industrial market space,” said GP Petroleums CEO Hari Prakash.

Raina has earlier been the face of sportswear brand Pure Play, Ceat Tyres and Intex.
