JAMSHEDPUR, Jharkhand: Jamshedpur FC, the freshly minted Indian Super league outfit owned by the Tata Group, launched their home kit on Sunday in the streets of the steel city at an event that saw a large turnout of fans.
Jamshedpur FC unveiled their home kit for the upcoming season with the likes of Kervens Belfort, Souvik Chakrabarti, among many others.
Indian sportswear brand Nivia was announced as the kit sponsors for the upcoming season with fashion designer Agnimitra Paul the brains behind the design.
The jersey incorporates elements paying homage to the unique traits that symbolizes the city of Jamshedpur, the club stated.
The ceremony also witnessed the unveiling of the club mascot, Zimba.
Sunil Bhaskaran, vice president, Corporate Services, Tata Steel, and Mukul Choudhari, Jamshedpur FC CEO, were also present on the occasion.
Jamshedpur FC's first ISL game is against NorthEast United FC away in Guwahati on Saturday, 18th November.
