MUMBAI: Liverpool legends Sami Hyypiä, Robbie Fowler, Luis Garcia and Vladimir Smicer kicked off LFC World presented by Standard Chartered at the High Street Phoenix, Lower Parel Thursday.
The three-day roadshow features a range of activities that will engage fans of all ages and provide opportunities to meet former LFC players.
Fans will also have the opportunity to meet club mascot Mighty Red at LFC World signing sessions throughout the weekend.
Last season the fan experience visited Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Shanghai meeting thousands of fans along the way.
What’s inside LFC WORLD?
LFC World has within it a replica of Anfield’s world famous Shankly Gates which bear the iconic word’s "You’ll Never Walk Alone". Also within is the Kop Cinema, where fans enter through retro turnstiles to take in an immersive motion picture that gives the feeling of standing on the orginal Kop to experience matchday at Anfield, as well as other highlights from the club’s history.
A dressing room photo station with shirts of current players Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firminho is available, alongside one of the most iconic trophies in world football - the Champions League Trophy.
Face the Kop: A VR experience that is claimed to be a first of its kind offers fans the experience of scoring at Anfield. The platform is an elite level tool used by professional footballers, an official release claims.
Inside Anfield VR Experience: Inside Anfield is a 360° Virtual Reality experience that offers a tour of the club’s home ground. To enhance the immersive experience, booths designed to simulate the locker rooms set-up in Anfield have been created.
LFC Sharing Box: Photographs can be taken with the LFC backdrop and printed out instantly. The device also allows users to share their images directly on social media.
