NEW DELHI: The Committee of Administrators (CoA) on Monday announced that India's 15-man World Cup squad will be announced in Mumbai on April 15.
It remains to be seen whether some of India's key players will be rested from the 2nd half of the ongoing 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), considering the World Cup will kick off on May 30.
While the last date for the announcement of squads is April 23, the Indian board has decided to announce it eight days in advance.
India's squad is more or less settled with only a few spots up for grabs. Kohli has repeatedly said that the No. 4 spot is a position where a batsman is yet to be finalised. Kohli also recently said that the players' performance in IPL 2019 will not be taken into count while picking the squad for the World Cup.
