MUMBAI: Real Kashmir FC are set to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with English League One side Oxford United, the Hero I-League side's co-owner Sandeep Chattoo confirmed to The Bridge Friday.
Chattoo, who owns the club along with Shamim Meraj, told the website that the MoU would be signed soon.
Chattoo, who returned from England on Wednesday after ironing out details of the MoU, said: "We are on the verge of signing an MoU with Oxford United Football Club of England for a technical collaboration between the two clubs. There will be player exchange programmes, there will be interaction of all kinds. I met their representatives and had a detailed discussion. Everything is decided, we will be announcing it very soon.
“We want to strengthen our academy. Every game, we want to have 3-4 local players who are capable enough to play. For that, we need a strong academy and we are currently focussing on that.”
