The International Olympic Committee Friday launched the Olympic AI Agenda. The initiative was introduced during an interactive event held at Lee Valley VeloPark at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, home of the Olympic and Paralympic Games London 2012.

The Olympic AI Agenda is the third in a trilogy of strategy documents launched under the leadership of IOC president Thomas Bach. It follows Olympic Agenda 2020, launched in December 2014, and Olympic Agenda 2020+5, launched in March 2021.

Raghuram Iyer, the newly appointed chief executive officer of the Indian Olympic Association, was reportedly welcomed on his first day in office on Monday with "no designated place to work from".  Per New Indian Express, Iyer spent some time in the IOA headquarters and left for the day.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Friday announced that AB InBev, the world’s leading brewer, will become a Worldwide Olympic Partner (TOP Partner) through to 2028.  The value of the deal was not disclosed, though the IOC has said some of its sponsors pay more than $300 million to be in the TOP (The Olympic Partner) program for a four-year commercial cycle.

The 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Tuesday adopted a resolution for the observance of the Olympic Truce for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024. The resolution calls for the Olympic Truce to be respected from seven days before the Olympic Games in July 2024 until seven days after the Paralympic Games.
