The world body, which had given a July 31 deadline for AAI to secure a clear verdict from the court, will meet Monday, PTI reports. For what? To decide its response after the Delhi High Court on Friday postponed the hearing on the dual elections conducted by AAI's two warring factions by another week.

NEW DELHI: World Archery has extended an olive branch to the de-recognised Archery Association of India by appointing its first vice-president Kazi Rajib Uddin Ahmed Chapol as the “mediator” to resolve the feud within the Indian federation, which has seen two factions announcing two separate elections on June 9.

NEW DELHI: World Archery (WA), the global governing body of the sport, will send a delegation led by its secretary general Tom Dielen to India next week to meet the newly-elected officials of the Archery Association of India (AAI), Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and the Sports Ministry, Press Trust of India reports.
