DUBAI: The 2020 edition of the Asia Cup stands cancelled, the Asian Cricket Council confirmed on Thursday. The ACC is looking at a window in June 2021 to host the tournament.

The T20 tournament was to be played in Sri Lanka in September after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) offered to swap hosting rights. It was to feature the four subcontinent sides (India and Bangladesh being the tother two),  along with Afghanistan and an Asian qualifier.

DUBAI: The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has awarded the sponsorship rights of Asia Cup Tournaments from 2020 to 2023 to Twenty First Century Media Pvt. Ltd. (TCM) for a period of four years.

MUMBAI: It was always a no brainer that without Virat Kohli, the ongoing Asia Cup would see a drop in both advertiser and media value for the tournament. Now media rights holder Star Sports has put on record that it faces a "serious dent" to revenue revenue accruals following the decision by the BCCI to rest the Team India captain.

NEW DELHI: The Asian Cricket Council meeting, taking place in Kuala Lumpur Monday and Tuesday, sees the Pakistan Cricket Board ranged against the BCCI on the matter of the hosting the Asian Emerging Nations Cup, which was awarded to the PCB last year. The BCCI, supported by its counterparts in Bangladesh, has pitched for moving the Asian Emerging Nations Cup out of Pakistan, citing security concerns.

MUMBAI: The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has moved the Under-19 Asia Cup out of India to Malaysia, with Kuala Lumpur replacing Bengaluru as host city for the tournament, which is to be held in November.   The decision was taken at the annual general meeting of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) held in Colombo on Saturday.
