MUMBAI: Disney Star India head - Ad Sales Nitin Bawankule has reportedly resigned from the company after a two-and-a-half year stint. 

Bawankule had joined Disney-owned network as head of ad sales in October 2019.

e4m broke the news of the development. As per the website, Bawankule will be joining Amazon Web Services (AWS) as director of Sales. He will reportedly take up the new role by April last week.

Bawankule was responsible for leading ad sales across both linear broadcast and OTT for the Disney Star network and Disney+ Hotstar respectively.

MUMBAI: Star India has announced the appointment of Nitin Bawankule as head of ad sales. In this role, Bawankule will be responsible for leading ad sales across both linear broadcast and OTT for Star TV network and Hotstar respectively.  The appointment is effective October 1, and he will report in to Sanjay Gupta, country manager, Star, and Disney India.

MUMBAI: Star India president & head – ad sales Amit Chopra has quit the company. As the head of ad sales, Chopra’s responsibility included generating ad revenues for entertainment, digital, and sports. Chopra will reportedly be joining  India focused private equity firm Samara Capital.
