Aditi Ashok has become the first Indian female golfer to enter the top 50 in the world rankings after her T5 place finish at the LPGA Founders Cup.

Aditi scored an average of 1.89 points and has moved up by 15 places in the rankings and is currently at the 49th spot in the women’s golf world ranking.

Nelly Korda of the USA remains on the top with an average of 8.40 points followed by Korea’s Jin Young Ko, who moved one place forward with 8.38 average points overtaking Lydia Ko of New Zealand’s 7.84.

India’s Aditi Ashok won her fourth Ladies European Tour title at the Kenya Ladies Open 2023 golf tournament at Vipingo Ridge, Kenya on Sunday. It was the 24-year-old's first LET title since winning the 2017 Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

MUMBAI: Aditi Ashok has qualified for the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship of the Ladies Professional Golf Association, becoming the first Indian to play in the prestigious meet.
