NEW DELHI (June 07): The International Chess Federation and the All India Chess Federation have strengthened their partnership with Tech Mahindra to provide a next-generation digital fan experience by leveraging Fan Nxt.Now. 

As part of this global collaboration, Tech Mahindra has been brought on board as a digital partner for the 44th edition of the FIDE Chess Olympiad, which will take place in India for the first time.

It will be hosted in Chennai from July 28 to August 9 with the Government of Tamil Nadu as host and principal sponsor.

NEW DELHI: History will be scripted when India hosts the biggest chess event in the world, the Chess Olympiad, for the first time ever.  The 44th edition of the extravaganza will be held later this year in India's Mecca of chess - Chennai. The participants' list will be a virtual who’s who with top stars from across the world participating representing more than 150 countries.

CHENNAI: The All India Chess Federation (AICF) will pass on to the players and others the benefit of any fee reduction implemented by the global chess body FIDE, IANS reports. "We will surely pass on the benefit fee reduction by FIDE to the players," AICF secretary Bharat Singh Chauhan told IANS.
