LONDON: "The times they are a changin" (hat tip to Bob Dylan). Test cricket, the "purest" form of the game, is getting a makeover... of sorts. The upcoming Ashes will witness players sporting their names and numbers on the back of jerseys for the first time in a Test match.

Thus far, only ODI and T20 jerseys had personalised player jerseys but the game's longest format is about to join its younger iterations.

SYDNEY: Cricket Australia (CA) and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) will be joining hands with Australian video games developer Big Ant Studios for the creation of a new cricket video game ‘Cricket 19 - The Official Game of the Ashes’ ahead of the marquee event this summer in England, cricket.com.au reports.
