MUMBAI: The two new franchises that will be a part of the ten-team Indian Premier League from the 2022 edition on. will be announced on October 25.

In a media release on Tuesday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India stated: "The IPL Media Rights tender for the cycle 2023-2027 will be released immediately after the appointment of two new IPL teams which is scheduled to be announced on 25th October 2021."

MUMBAI: The Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) has decided to bid for the 2024 edition of the biennial World Team Championships. TTFI secretary MP Singh told PTI the time has come for India to host a high-profile event. The last time India hosted a world championships was way back in 1987. “We will be bidding for the 2024 edition in which 32 teams will take part,” he said.

MUMBAI: The BCCI has opened bidding for the rights to provide stadium branding services for the next two seasons of the Indian Premier League (2019-2020), with the  option to extend it by one more year to IPL 2021, "at the discretion of" the Indian cricket board.  The deadline for submission is 11 am IST on February 21.
