PANAJI: The Goa state cabinet on Wednesday cleared the proposal for leasing land admeasuring 189,000 sq ms at Dhargal to Goa Cricket Association for the construction of an international standard cricket stadium.
The cricket stadium will be of 50,000 crowd capacity and it will be constructed by GCA.
The land was originally acquired by the government to build a sports city in Dhargal, Navhind Times reports.
