All-India Police Hockey C'ship: HI boots Punjab, J&K teams

NEW DELHI: Hockey India on Saturday directed All India Police Sports Control Board to withdraw the participation of Punjab Police team and J&K Police Jammu immediately from the ongoing 68th All-India Police Hockey Championship 2019 in Bhubaneswar. 

This follows the vacation of a stay order issued earlier by City Judge, Jammu.

Super Cup boycott: AIFF disciplinary panel fines 6 clubs
NEW DELHI: The All India Football Federation's disciplinary committee Thursday imposed a fine of Rs 1 million each to five I-League clubs, including former champions Aizawl FC and Minerva Punjab FC, while East Bengal were told to pay Rs 500,000 for pulling out of Super Cup in March-April. Churchill Brothers, Gokulam Kerala FC and Neroca FC were the other three clubs fined Rs 1 million each.

AIFF refers I-League clubs' Super Cup no show to disciplinary panel
BHUBANESWAR: The AIFF league committee has unanimously decided to refer the matter of I-League clubs' withdrawal from the ongoing Hero Super Cup to the disciplinary committee, relying upon the relevant clauses/sections of the I-League participation agreement and the tournament's regulations.
