LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ehsan Mani has ruled out any possibility of the Asia Cup being staged this year in June as originally scheduled. The PCB chief further confirmed that Sri Lanka would host the continental event in 2022.

As for the 2023 edition, where Pakistan will be the host nation, Mani expressed the hope that political relations with India would improve by then, allowing for the biggest money draw in the game to "show up and be counted".
