The 

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) and the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) have entered into a five-year mutual cooperation agreement wherein the Taliban-ruled hardline country's national team will play their home games in the UAE. 

A corollary of the agreement is that Afghanistan will also play a series of three T20I matches each year with UAE national team. In return, ECB will provide logistic support to the Afghanistan board, including visa assistance and office space.

MUMBAI: IPL Governing Council chairman Brijesh Patel confirmed Sunday that the BCCI has sent an official request to the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) to stage the Indian Premier League in the UAE. “Yes, we have sent the acceptance letter to the ECB and both the boards will be working together from now on to stage the tournament,” Patel told UAE's Khaleej Times.

DUBAI: The Emirates Cricket Board Sunday announced the inaugural Emirates Domestic 'D10' tournament.  Emirates Cricket have also announced ITW Consulting Pvt Ltd as their commercial partner for the six-team tournament, in a three-year deal.

DUBAI: Former Sri Lankan cricketers Nuwan Zoysa and Avishka Gunawardene have been charged by the International Cricket Council for breaching the Emirates Cricket Board's Anti Corruption Code. The breach relates to the T10 league that was played in the UAE last year in December. While Zoysa was charged for breaching four counts of the ECB's Code, Gunawardene was found to have breached two.
