WEST INDIAN GREAT MICHAEL Holding has taken taken aim at the International Cricket Council, slamming the ICC for operating more as an "event management company" rather than the game's world governing body. 

“The ICC right now are a production company," Holding stated. "They manage their events, make a lot of money from their events, but they do not manage the game. This game is not being managed by the people responsible for managing the game.

Three days after New Zealand Cricket abandoned its men’s teams limited-overs tour of Pakistan following a government alert that warned of a possible attack outside Rawalpindi Stadium, the England and Wales Cricket Board followed suit. The ECB came to a decision after a board meeting over the weekend. Its statement didn't directly detail any specific security issues.

MUMBAI: The England and Wales Cricket Board and the Bangladesh Cricket Board confirmed Tuesday that they had "mutually decided" (with more than a little nudging from the BCCI it does not need adding) to reschedule England’s Men’s planned six-match tour of Bangladesh, which was due to take place in September and October, to March 2023. The tour includes three One Day Internationals and three T20 Internationals.

LONDON: The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have confirmed that three players and four members of the management staff tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday in Bristol. The members who have tested positive will self-isolate as per UK Government's quarantine protocol. The rest of the group in the bio-bubble too will have to self-isolate after being deemed as close contacts to those who tested positive.

LONDON: The England and Wales Cricket Board has suspended contracted player Ollie Robinson from all international cricket pending the outcome of a disciplinary investigation following historic tweets he posted in 2012 and 2013.    The England and Sussex bowler will not be available for selection for the LV= Insurance second Test against New Zealand starting at Edgbaston on Thursday 10 June.

LONDON: The England and Wales Cricket Board has published its Annual Review and Financial Statements for 2020/21. In the review, the ECB has declared revenue losses amounting to more than £100m ($141m), compared to what had been expected to be received in 2020, after a year of matches played behind closed doors. The losses reported are from across the game as a whole – including ECB and First Class Counties.
