MUMBAI: It was a super day at the office over the weekend for Teams India in both cricket (India's national sport) and hockey (notionally national sport).

Under overcast Manchester skies that "co-operated" for long enough to deliver a result, Virat Kohli's men made it seven in a row against Pakistan in World Cup clashes, outclassing their arch-rivals with an 89-run triumph built on man-of-the-match Rohit Sharma's brilliant 140 from 113 balls.

Bhubaneswar to host Hockey Series Finals in June 2019
BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Sports Minister Chandra Sarathi Behera and International Hockey Federation (FIH) President Narinder Batra announced Wednesday that the capital city is set to host one of the three Hockey Series Finals to be held from 6-16 June 2019. The Hockey Series is open to national teams that are not playing in the Hockey Pro League.

FIH names 2019 Hockey Series Finals hosts
LAUSANNE: The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has confirmed that France, Japan, Malaysia and Spain will host Hockey Series Finals in 2019. Women’s events will take place in Japan and Spain and men’s in France and Malaysia, with two more Hockey Series Finals - one men’s and one women’s, to be confirmed within the coming weeks.
