MUMBAI: MI Global Thursday unveiled the official playing kits that its two new teams – MI Emirates and MI Cape Town – will be donning for the upcoming inaugural season of ILT20 and SA20 in UAE and South Africa respectively. 

Crafted by designer duo Shantnu & Nikhil in the MI blue & gold colour scheme, the jerseys dedicated to the local fans, pay homage to the culture and history of the two regions.

DOHA: adidas, which recently unveiled the Official Match Ball for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, revealed Wednesday the Home and Away federation kits created for national teams participating. The tournament is scheduled to begin in November in Qatar.

MUMBAI: The 2019 World Cup is likely to see the introduction of ‘away’ kits for the first time. According to a report in The Guardian, teams that have kits of similar colour will have one side wear the away kit. Out of the 10 teams in the tournament, England, India, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan wear blue kits, albeit of different hues. Pakistan, South Africa and Bangladesh have green as their main colour.

MADRID: Champions League winners Real Madrid and adidas have launched the La Liga club’s home and away kits for the next season. The club will continue to sport a white jersey at home, which also comprises of the black of the logo, jersey sponsor Emirates and the three adidas stripes, which can only be seen on the shoulders.It resembles the 2002 jersey.
