CANBERRA: The fifth edition of the Women's Big Bash League will be a standalone tournament in 2019-20 for the first time since its inception, Cricket Australia announced on Wednesday, with seven festival weekends of cricket confirmed in the fixtures that were unveiled on Wednesday.

Michael Cassel Group to produce Women's T20 WC 2020 opening ceremony

POTTS POINT, Australia: The International Cricket Council has appointed Michael Cassel Group to produce the opening ceremony of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2020, hosted in Australia. The ceremony will launch and immediately precede the first match of the tournament between Australia and India at the Sydney Showground Stadium on Friday 21 February 2020.
