JAMSHEDPUR: The BCCI will be bringing the IPL Fan Park to the eastern city of Jamshedpur for the second year in a row for the double header matches on the 19th and the 20th of May. 

According to a report in The Avenue Mail, fans in the steel city can get the opportunity to watch the matches on a 32x18 ft giant screen.

Amit Siddheshwar of BCCI’s Cricket Operations hoped that this year would be a success as well as in 2017, as many as 12,000 people had turned up daily to watch the matches in the city.

JAMSHEDPUR: Tata Trusts and Tata Steel have announced the establishment of the Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA) at Jamshedpur, a world-class high performance residential hockey training facility for 14-to-16 year-old boys.  The academy was inaugurated on the eve of the founder’s day celebration on Friday by Ratan Tata, chairman, Tata Trusts.

JAMSHEDPUR, Jharkhand: The Tata Steel Group and PGTI have announced the 16th Tata Open Golf which will be held here from Thursday running through to Sunday, 17th December.  The four-day tournament will be hosted at the Steel City's Golmuri Golf Course. The Pro-Am will be played on 13th December, 2017. The event offers a rich prize purse of Rs 10 million.
