COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.: Leidos, a Fortune 500 science and technology company, and its Dynetics team have announced their intention to compete in another moon race through a promotional partnership with NASCAR. 

The partnership will be a collaboration between the two organizations in the areas of speed, safety and reliability. Details of the collaboration as well as the design and technology of the Lunar Terrain Vehicle were unveiled during a special event at the Space Foundation's 38th annual Space Symposium, the premier assembly for the global space ecosystem.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.: NASCAR Friday announced that it has successfully closed its $2 billion acquisition of International Speedway Corporation (ISC), merging its operations into one, new company moving forward.  The merger, which was announced in May and won shareholders' approval on Wednesday, brings under NASCAR's control 12 tracks that include Daytona, Talladega and Miami-Homestead Speedway.

NEW YORK: Sportradar, the world’s leading provider of sports data, media and entertainment solutions, Wednesday announced a multi-year extension of its media partnership with NASCAR. The renewed agreement follows a successful four-year partnership, where Sportradar distributed NASCAR’s live timing and scoring data to digital media partners such as the Associated Press and Bleacher Report.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.: NASCAR has elevated company executive Steve Phelps, who joined the US stock-car racing sanctioning and operating company in 2005, to president, effective October 1. Phelps joins only four other individuals who have held the title of NASCAR president since the sport’s inception in 1948 - Bill France Sr., Bill France Jr., Mike Helton and Brent Dewar.
