Patnaik and Reizniece-Ozola emphasized the need to popularize chess as a mind-sport and its immense potential to empower the youth intellectually and emotionally.

BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik purchased the first ticket of the FIH Mens Hockey World Cup 2023 from Hockey India president Dilip Tirkey here on Wednesday. Odisha is hosting the quadrennial world championship for the second consecutive time and matches will be played in two venues – Kalinga Stadium (Bhubaneswar) and Birsa Munda Stadium (Rourkela) – in the state from January 13 to 29.
