NZC steps into metaverse, inks landmark deal with Dream Sports

MUMBAI: New Zealand Cricket (NZC) and sports technology company Dream Sports have joined forces to build a "comprehensive suite of digital fan engagement products" in an exclusive five-year deal.

A significant move on the cricketing landscape, the partnership will create unique, fan-focused avenues across Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), gaming and merchandising through Dream Sports’ portfolio.

NZ men & women cricketers to get equal pay in landmark deal
AUCKLAND: New Zealand Cricket (NZC) on Tuesday announced a ground-breaking agreement, which will see men and women players paid the same match fees. New Zealand’s professional women’s and men’s cricketers will receive the same pay for the same work on the same day, in a landmark agreement struck between NZC, the six Major Associations, and the New Zealand Cricket Players Association.
