MUMBAI: The upcoming 'Road Safety World Series' - a cricket league featuring legends who have retired from international cricket - is all set to kick off here from March 7, with the final on March 22. 

The opening game of the tournament will take place between India Legends and West India Legends at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Sri Lanka, Australia, and South Africa make up the remaining three teams in the series.

MUMBAI: Sports management firm Kwan Entertainment has announced the addition of Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan to its sports portfolio. As part of the three-year contract, Kwan will represent the Team India ace in all of his off-field professional associations including endorsements, live appearances, and digital activations, along with any other business opportunities.

MUMBAI: Commentators empanelled by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) might soon be barred from writing columns if the Lodha’s Committee’s recommendations regarding conflict of interest come into effect, Times of India reports.  Strangely, said diktat would not apply to Hindi commentators presently in contract with Star Sports, the report further notes.
