BHUBANESWAR: The National Rugby 15s Championship (Division 1) has kicked off at KIIT University, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha with a total of 17 teams participating in the Men's and Women's categories, including some of the biggest names from the Indian national teams.

BHUBANESWAR: Rugby India has partnered with the Odisha government and the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Know-how (KIIT), as associate sponsors, to support its high performance program for the next three years.
As a part of this association, the national training and selection camp has already commenced at the KIIT University campus in Bhubaneswar from August 14 and will continue till September 16.

MUMBAI: Aga Hussain, of the Indian Rugby Football Union (IRFU) aka Rugby India, has been elected president of Asia Rugby at the AGM of Asia Rugby in Hong Kong. He is the first Indian to hold the continental post.
